The Beach Boys, live from Sankei Hall, Osaka, Japan on January 13th, 1966. As 1966 got underway, Brian Wilson was crafting Pet Sounds in Los Angeles, while his bandmates continued to tour. Mike Love, Al Jardine, Dennis Wilson, Carl Wilson and Bruce Johnston started the year by flying to Japan, where they toured from January 7th to the 23rd. Presented here is the entire NHK Radio broadcast from Sankei Hall, Osaka, Japan on January 13th, 1966. The superb performance finds them in excellent form as they tackle a cross-section of their most popular material to date, both originals and covers. Includes background notes and images, and a bonus rare interview for TV Magazine.
